Dear John,
Every day, we're thinking bigger.
Every day, we're trying something new.
Every day, we're a little closer to the next big breakthrough because of you.
But every day, more sick and injured kids will come through the doors of Children's Hospital Los Angeles in need of compassionate care. As a nursing leader, I have seen what going above and beyond really means from our team members and how, even in a pandemic, with your help, we are thinking bigger, trying something new and continuing to make breakthroughs happen.
I can also tell you that the cures and treatments can't come soon enough for those families searching for answers, watching their children suffer.
Healing children with leading-edge research and compassionate care is what drives us here at CHLA—and with your support, we can make even more strides in the coming year. The best thing you can do today to support all our lifesaving work is to make a gift of $10. (Right now, it'll be matched, dollar for dollar!)
So much has changed since the COVID-19 pandemic started. Our safety protocols and our standards have changed to keep patients, patient families and our CHLA team safe. Despite the many changes, CHLA's commitment to the children and families who depend on us hasn't wavered—not even a little.
I love seeing that commitment firsthand in my job as Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care—just like I love seeing how your support provides hope-filled futures for kids who come our way. That's one of the reasons I became a nurse—my desire to make an impact on others and give them hope that tomorrow can be better than today.
When you donate today, YOU can help give that kind of hope to sick kids as well—and until Dec. 31 you'll double the impact toward treatments and cures we can discover in the coming year.
Here's just a glimpse at what we're working on:
- Pioneering new, less invasive treatments to limit the time kids have to stay in the hospital
- Fighting childhood cancer so that no parent has to hear that dreaded diagnosis
- Driving the development of new cellular therapies that can treat children without the need for chronic medication or organ transplant
...and so much more.
We have the building blocks that change patient outcomes through science—now we just need you, John.
We have just two more days to hit our goal of $675,000. Donate to CHLA today and your gift will go TWICE as far to drive discoveries and help kids get the care they need in the year ahead.
On behalf of our patients, thank you for your support.
