At the end of each year, I write a retrospective about the most popular articles of the past twelve months. It's always an interesting overview from a preparedness standpoint. Never have the top ten articles been all laser-focused on the same topic.
The articles that saw several million views weren't about the virus itself, but how the government's response to it would affect us all. You can believe there is a viral pandemic and the response was one that took advantage of it. These beliefs can exist simultaneously.
Here's an overview of the year that changed everything. Looking back at both the articles and the comments is pretty interesting.
I think we will see 2020 in the same way we view Sept. 11, 2001, as a turning point where great freedom was lost. There will be the world before Covid, and the world after.
A cage, no matter how "safe," is still a cage.
