[[link removed]]DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT TO FIGHT PLASTIC POLLUTION BY DECEMBER 31ST
[{CAMPAIGNPAGE_URL~62603~[link removed]}]
John,

Studies continue to tell us that plastic pollution is a major threat to marine
wildlife. Since 2009, scientists have discovered at least 1,800 marine animals
across 40 different species have swallowed or become entangled in plastic debris
in our oceans.

John, we must take a stand against single-use plastics
and plastic pollution. Will you please make a matched gift today to make sure we can address massive
threats to marine wildlife in 2021?

I Want To Double My Gift To Save Marine Wildlife

Every species that comes into contact with oceans and coasts is at risk of being
impacted by the deadly threat of plastic waste in the ocean.

A recent study found that whale sharks are likely consuming over a hundred
pieces of plastic every hour because our oceans are overflowing with plastic
debris and microplastics. Fishing gear and other marine debris can entangle
wildlife and cause severe pain, constant suffering, and often death. Will you help us save wildlife like whale sharks from this cruel fate?

Studies on seabirds like the Laysan Albatross show that up to 98% of the
population has ingested plastic waste. When an albatross uses its beak to skim
the ocean surface for prey like squid, it can pick up plastic along the way.
Once ingested, plastic can obstruct the digestive tract and puncture internal
organs.

I Want To Double My Impact To Prevent Plastic Pollution

[[link removed]]While the problem is immense, we are ready to implement even bigger and more
diverse programs to educate America about the dangers of plastic pollution and
combat single-use plastics in 2021. But our ability to fight back depends on friends of wildlife like you helping
us reach our Million Dollar Matching Gift Challenge goal before December 31.

John, will you please help us reach our
goal of $1 million by midnight on December 31? With the help of your gift, we
can turn the tide of this plastic problem before it's too late.

Thank you for helping us build a better future for tomorrow and combat this
dangerous threat to wildlife.
