On Friday, Montreal will host the largest climate strike Canada has ever seen.
Elizabeth May will be there alongside Greta Thunberg and the tens of thousands of other young people who helped turn one 16-year-old’s campaign into a global movement. Elizabeth’s calling on the other party leaders to join her—to pause campaigning for a couple of hours and listen to the kids and to the climate science.
Today, Elizabeth calls on Andrew Scheer, Justin Trudeau, Jagmeet Singh and Yves-François Blanchet to march with her in Friday’s Montreal #ClimateStrike. She hopes to show Canadians that our leaders can come together in solidarity and action to face this unprecedented threat.

The situation
Youth across the country and around the world have been striking for global climate action all year. And Greens are the only Canadian party listening. Mission: Possible, the Green Party’s Climate Emergency Action Plan, calls for an all-party cabinet to address the crisis together and achieve zero emissions by 2050.
Today, Elizabeth is calling on all the leaders to take the same approach. The Prime Minister — whoever she may be in 2020 — needs to unify the country to face this threat.
We can start this week in Montreal.
