John,

When you see your doctor, you pay out of your wallet.

When Jim’s grandfather was a rural doctor in Chickasaw County in the early part of the 20th century, there were times when his patients would pay him with chickens. Listen to Jim tell it here:

Our healthcare system has changed a lot since then, but one thing hasn’t: every Mississippian deserves the right to affordable, accessible healthcare. Can you contribute now to help us spread that message?

Jim has always been a fighter for working families, and this TV ad shows it. As Lieutenant Governor, Tate Reeves has refused to accept $1 billion dollars a year of federal money, forcing some of our rural hospitals to close. When Jim’s governor, he’s going to keep rural hospitals open, expand healthcare to 300,000 working folks, and create 9,000 jobs in the process.

Will you chip in now to make sure that every person in Mississippi knows what we’re fighting for?

Thanks for all you do,

Meg,
Deputy Campaign Manager
