I am writing to you today as the President of GLAAD’s Board of Directors with an important message: We are at a critical point in the history of our movement. Thankfully, we are in the final days of one of the most anti-LGBTQ administrations in recent history. Shortly, we will have the opportunity to RECLAIM OUR GROUND, and press for the advancement of LGBTQ people. In response to this moment, GLAAD’s Board of Directors have voted to leverage our Leadership Fund to match every contribution dollar for dollar through December 31st.

I am incredibly proud of GLAAD’s work, particularly during this unprecedented year. We have helped maintain a sense of community for LGBTQ people despite quarantine, amplified the voices of people of color, worked to turn out the LGBTQ vote, challenged misinformation, all while pushing toward 100% acceptance of LGBTQ people.
