Hi friend,

Here at EWG, we know this has been an incredibly tough and uncertain year for everyone. We’re grateful beyond words for your support and your commitment to our cause.

If you can, we are hoping for one last push of help before 2020 closes out. We are looking for 650 individuals to make a donation today to help us meet our goal.

We saw that you haven’t yet made a gift to EWG. This is a great time to make your very first donation, before the year ends, any amount can make a difference! But we also understand if you are not able to donate at this time.

We’re just 4 days away from our critical year-end deadline, and with $138,452 left to raise, we need every single supporter of EWG to step up.

Please support EWG’s year-end campaign – make your first gift of $10 or more, and a generous donor will MATCH it. But don’t wait — our special match offer expires at midnight on Thursday, 12/31.

Each year, we build our budget to reflect the research and reporting our teams are planning. A fundraising shortfall could jeopardize the advocacy and research you count on.

And we’ve got a lot to do in 2021! When you donate before midnight on Thursday, 12/31 your tax-deductible gift will DOUBLE in impact to do the most possible to help EWG protect your health and environment. We’re leading the charge right now to:

* Fight continued attacks on our pesticide work. We’ve been accused of spreading misinformation, propaganda and fake news by Monsanto and industry groups like the Alliance for Food and Farming.
* Push the incoming Biden administration to make PFAS chemicals a priority. President-elect Biden needs to set a national drinking water standard for PFAS chemicals and designate them hazardous substances.
* Expand our work on testing for toxic chemicals in consumer products, water and food. EWG made waves when we detected glyphosate, the cancer-linked weedkiller, in oat-based cereal. Now we’re working on plans to expand our testing program in 2021.

… and so much more.

Reaching our goal by midnight on 12/31 ensures we will be ready to fight on your behalf. How hard we fight depends on the support of grassroots donors. Individuals like you make up 70 percent of our revenue: Please – don’t put this off until tomorrow or expect someone else to do their part.

Make your first tax-deductible contribution right now, and your donation will be MATCHED, dollar for dollar.

P.S. Sometimes our system takes a few days to process donations, so I apologize if you’ve already given and your record hasn’t yet been updated!
