Fellow progressive,
As the pandemic makes economic uncertainty more dire across the country, millions of American workers — particularly workers deemed ‘essential’ in healthcare, food service, and retail — struggle to live paycheck to paycheck. One of the main culprits: the federal minimum wage of $7.25 and $2.13 for tipped workers.
The last time legislation was passed to raise the federal minimum wage was 2007. Now, 40 million workers — mostly women and workers of color — are forced to get by on wages too low to pay for rent, support a family, or put food on the table.
When it comes to our essential workers in healthcare, food service and retail, $7.25 an hour doesn’t cut it. We need Congress to pass legislation to finally institute a $15 minimum wage. Will you be one of 10,000 progressives to join us in the fight for $15 by signing our petition today? »

demand a $15 minimum wage »
Fellow progressive, thanks to the hard work of workers and organizers, the movement for a $15 minimum wage has never been more popular — two-thirds of Americans support this raise.
And last year, the House of Representatives passed the Raise the Wage Act that would have increased wages to $15 for 20% of American workers — only for it to be blocked by Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate.
Our essential workers deserve better than $7.25, and a majority of Americans agree. Now, we just need to demand the Senate pass much needed $15 minimum wage legislation.
Listen, we need 10,000 progressives to send a strong message demanding a $15 minimum wage to give 40 million Americans a fairer shot. Will you join 9,999 other progressives and sign our petition to raise the wage now? »
