Mitch McConnell has consistently put party — and his own personal pursuit of power -- over what’s best for the country. He dedicated himself to trying to foil President Obama at every turn during his presidency, and he will do the same thing to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris if he can. But we can stop him. If Georgians elect me and Rev. Warnock in our January runoffs, we’ll win back the Senate and strip McConnell of his power. Chip in today to win the Senate and stop McConnell from blocking progress in our country.
In order for us to emerge from this crisis healthy, strong, prosperous, and united, we can’t have four years of unmitigated partisan gridlock in Washington from Mitch McConnell. McConnell will obstruct the Biden Administration’s efforts to control this pandemic and invest in economic recovery. He will cause even more gridlock in Washington, and make it even harder to bring this country together again. The U.S. is turning the page on the Trump era. He’s leaving. And in the past few weeks, we’ve been feeling a sense of hope. We have the opportunity to define the next era in American history. It should be rooted in unity and the principles of my hero John Lewis and his Beloved Community, with the recognition that we’re all one people.
