Over the last political election cycle, the fossil fuel industry spent a combined $359 million on federal lobbying.
That’s nearly $500,000 per day.
This is what we’re up against. The cold, hard truth is that we’re being heavily outspent by the opposition.
While our movement has shown over and over that people power can defeat even the most entrenched special interests — these numbers show why our $500,000 End of Year goal is so important.
Will you help us head into 2021 ready to compete with the fossil fuel industry by making a donation before our End of year deadline?

If we are going to compete with oil and gas lobbyists, we need our own advocates at every level of government who are building relationships and sharing the demands of constituents directly with those in power.
And in order to compete with their massive marketing budgets and green-washing campaigns, we need our own digital advertising to recruit, train, and organize even more people who are looking for ways to plug in.
To compete with their campaign donations, we need Zoom subscriptions, text banking software, and voter outreach tools to be able to organize across the country and demand accountability.
Money doesn’t win – organizing does, but it takes dedicated people and smart tools to do it effectively.
We’re up against the most well-funded, entrenched opposition possible. Every donation helps level the playing field and allows us to out-organize our opponents.
