The Unz Review Digest - December 25, 2020

Ranking first this last week was an article by author David Irving originally published over a quarter-century ago and describing the ferocious harassment and persecution he had experienced, supplemented by several videos of his public lectures, purged from YouTube but still available on Bitchute.  Although Irving ranks as perhaps the most internationally-successful British historian of the last 100 years, his exhaustive documentary research led him to produce a series of highly-controversial volumes on the true history of World War II which aroused an enormous wave of attacks and media vilification, culminating in his bankruptcy after a London libel trial and his later imprisonment.  Irving’s case and his views provoked nearly 300 comments totaling over 30,000 words.

Disease epidemics held the next two spots, led by Larry Romanoff’s speculative analysis of the great Spanish Flu epidemic of one hundred years ago, which he believes may have been caused by widespread use of a defective American vaccine, drawing a couple of hundred comments totaling more than 30,000 words.  Just below was James Thompson’s discussion of the difficulties Britain faces with the current Covid-19 outbreak and the extensive lockdowns being implemented to control it.

Fourth place was held by Nicholas R. Jeelvy’s discussion of the enormous power and influence of Jewish groups in today’s American society and the widespread unwillingness of writers—even those on the political “fringe”—to publicly acknowledge that fact, an enormous obstacle to correcting our current problems, with the author arguing that only candid individuals willing to break that taboo can be trusted.  This topic quickly unleashed an enormous outpouring of commentary, totaling more than 700 comments and 85,000 words.

Rounding out our most popular features were two columns on the aftermath of the Biden/Harris victory in the 2020 elections, with James Kirkpatrick arguing that mainstream white Americans have to admit that they no longer have a country of their own and Philip Giraldi focusing on the public plans for widespread political revenge by the establishmentarian forces that had spent four years opposing Donald Trump.

Finally, although it has long-since dropped out of the top group, Laurent Guyenot’s article from three weeks ago about the Kennedy assassination continues to attract ongoing debate, now reached some 750 comments and almost 190,000 words, probably representing one of the most extensive discussions found anywhere on the Internet, with nearly half the total coming from a fierce and very determined skeptic of all such conspiracy theories.

(Presented at the Eleventh IHR Conference, October 1992.) Thank you, United States, for letting me come and speak. I mean that seriously because the fight is now getting quite creepy. For two years now, in country after country, I have been conducting this international Campaign for Real History. During this period, in country after country,... Read More
One new historical development that has been evolving over a few years and now brought into focus because of COVID-19, is the so-called "Spanish Flu" of 1918. Recurring reports and documentation are emerging to tell us that this 'Greatest Pandemic in History' was [1] not "Spanish", [2] not "the flu" and, [3] not a natural... Read More
This has been the year of counting the days. On Saturday morning people in England were preparing for a family Christmas. By 5 pm that afternoon they were phoning their regrets, in sadness and sometimes rage. All this may be good news. Opinions differ. The story so far is that the United Kingdom has not... Read More
Take a look around you. Do you see degeneracy? Do you see white dispossession? Do you see decline in institutions and trust in them? Do you see endless wars in the Middle East? Chances are, it’s the Jews. The early lifers have their fingers in a lot of shit pies — probably all of them.... Read More
We’re already in the post-American age and arbitrary law enforcement, restrictions on free speech, and mob justice are just the beginning. There will be no negative consequences for those who destroyed American cities via misguided policies and Leftist protests. Instead, the government will center on the Dissident Right the same way the Soviets did on... Read More

The upcoming year should be interesting. The Establishment “Deep State” has won a major victory in the United States with the election of Joe Biden as president. What remains to be seen is whether or not there will be significant bloodletting as a consequence, revenge for the presumed misdeeds that constituted the core legacy of... Read More
The above proclamation from Claudius, in response to riots between Greeks and Jews in Alexandria almost two thousand years ago, illustrates the profound lack of mystery in anti-Semitism. For Claudius, peace in the city would be restored if the Jews ceased certain negative behaviours: agitating for heightened and special privileges (“to agitate for anything beyond... Read More
The Correlation of Armed Forces: U.S. goods and services trade with China totaled an estimated $634.8 billion in 2019. Exports were $163.0 billion; imports were $471.8 billion. The U.S. goods and services trade deficit with China was $308.8 billion in 2019. Trade in services with China (exports and imports) totaled an estimated $76.7 billion in... Read More
Waves, Ripples and Surges Let's examine the normal pattern for an outbreak of a typical infectious disease. According to the US CDC: [1] "A common-source outbreak is one in which a group of persons are all exposed to an infectious agent or a toxin from the same source. If the number of cases during an... China, Russia and Iran are the top three existential “threats” to the U.S., according to the National Security Strategy. Three features distinguish the top three. They are all sovereign powers. They are under varying degrees of sanctions. And they are the top three nodes of the 21st century’s most important, evolving geopolitical process: Eurasia integration.... Read More
Since the 1960s the federal government has initiated countless programs to close racial gaps. All have failed, some have even exacerbated these gaps, but failure aside, all posited logical connections between the program and the intended beneficial outcome. Head Start, for example, rested on the plausible idea that blacks disproportionately suffered early childhood deprivations, and... Read More
Among the most sordid periods of American history was the systematic political repression directed against leftists, Communists, labor activists, and other “subversives” – the McCarthyism of peak Cold War years spanning the late 1940s to late 1950s. The merciless ideological crusade associated with Joe McCarthy, junior senator from Wisconsin otherwise identified as “Tailgunner Joe”, was... Read More
2020 was GloboCap Year Zero. The year when the global capitalist ruling classes did away with the illusion of democracy and reminded everyone who is actually in charge, and exactly what happens when anyone challenges them. In the relatively short span of the last ten months, societies throughout the world have been transformed beyond recognition.... Read More
A dozen years ago I wrote two essays showing that the War on Christmas in recent times has in fact been conducted by Jews out of their historic hatred of Christ, Christians, and European Whites. Recently, I was a guest on Guide to Kultur, hosted by Frodi Midjord, and we talked about my 2008 essays... Read More
There is a woeful lack of ethnic consciousness and cohesion among Anglo-Saxons worldwide. In a groundbreaking essay published in 1980, John Tyndall, former head of the British National Party, defined the Anglo-Saxon ethnos as consisting of the English, Scots, Welsh, Anglo- and Scots-Irish communities and their counterparts in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and... The Pfizer pharmaceutical company beat everyone to the punch by being the first Covid-19 vaccine to be granted Emergency Use Authorization by the FDA. There is an aggressive media and government campaign to “[push] blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans to the front of the [vaccine] line, ahead of whites.” The Department of Veterans Affairs has... In the final week of September, an Azerbaijani offensive renewed hostilities in the perennial armed conflict and territorial dispute in the South Caucasus between Armenia and its neighbor over the Nagorno-Karabakh (“Mountainous Karabakh”) region. By October, the clashes had escalated past the state border between Azerbaijan and the internationally-unrecognized Republic of Artsakh which suffered heavy... Read More
Thirty years ago, almost to the day, I spoke at Hillsdale College, the bastion of conservative academic thought nestled in the woods and hills of southern Michigan. My speech took place one year after the fall of the Berlin Wall and one year before the collapse of the Soviet Union, at what we can say... Read More
As we've been instructed for decades, the key to Republicans doing better among immigrant voters is to let in more immigrants. Thus, Donald Trump in 2020, while he may have done better among whites because of their innate xenophobic racism, was swept away by the righteous wrath of immigrants. Except ... the opposite happened. From... Read More
History Has Begun is a very important but badly flawed book. Bruno Maçães, Portugal’s former foreign minister and now a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, perfectly describes the myth of American civilization, arguing that America was founded on “the promise of fantasy.” America lets people live out compelling stories, something which is central to...
