Happy holidays from the National Trust[[link removed]]

Dear Friend,

As we near the end of an incredibly challenging year for so many people across
the world, I am reminded of the power of stories. Stories that illustrate the
incredible deeds of people from our past. Stories passed down from generation to
generation. Stories that make us laugh and cry. Stories that give us hope.

Stories like these are worth preserving and sharing with your loved ones,
whether they’re written down in a book, told across the dinner table, or etched
in the architecture of an old building.

We believe that historic places have a crucial role to play in telling the
stories that have shaped America and all its people. We’re so grateful for
friends like you who share that belief with us.

When you come together this holiday season with friends and family members,
whether virtually or in-person, our hope is that you’ll find comfort and joy in
the stories of people you’ve met, places you’ve visited, and the experiences
that have united you.

Happy holidays from all of us at the National Trust. Have a safe and wonderful
holiday season.

Warmly,

Paul Edmondson
