Friend,

Today, families across the world are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

John 1:9-10 tells the humble but significant story of Jesus’ entrance into the world that night in Bethlehem. It says:

“The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.”

God’s light is desperately needed by so many of our friends and neighbors this year. After such a challenging year, I am keeping those who are hurting today in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you’ll join me in doing the same.

This year has been full of unexpected development, but one thing we can be certain of during uncertain times is God’s love for us. And in that simple truth, we can find peace.
