Please sign the petition to support marijuana justice for all
Hi Friend,

I wanted to make sure you saw this message and took a few moments to support marijuana justice for all.

I’m asking for your help on behalf of all of those who have been irreparably harmed by the unrelenting war on drugs. Call on your US Senators and Representative to support the MORE Act by signing the petition today. And contribute to the cause to help us create a more just and humane future for all.

Thank you,

You deserve MORE

Friend,

I wish you could meet Lawrence Harris.

He’s an example of the profound harm wrought by a war on drugs that criminalizes hundreds of thousands of people and creates excessively punitive, often lifelong barriers to jobs, housing, and education.

For a simple drug law violation, Lawrence was sentenced to 60 years in prison, later reduced to 17 years to life. After serving time, he found himself out on work release with just three days to find employment or he would be sent back to prison. He was bewildered and frightened. He desperately needed a second chance.

It’s on behalf of people like Lawrence and others irreparably harmed by the unrelenting drug war that I ask for your help today.

Today, we’re asking you to take action in favor of drug policies like the MORE Act that end marijuana prohibition and ensure reparative justice and equity. I urge you to sign the petition to Congress and support it with a contribution to help us create a more just and humane future for people like Lawrence.

And Friend, we’re asking for your help on behalf of all those who have been irreparably harmed by the unrelenting war on drugs. After you’ve signed the petition—which we’ll share with your Senators and Representative—please make a gift today to fuel the movement to end this disastrous war on drugs and build responsible policies based on helping people, not handcuffing them.

With gratitude,

Ellen Flenniken,
Managing Director, Development
