But first, we want to take a second to talk about why this deadline matters (a lot).

After the deadline, all of the presidential candidates will put together reports on how much they've raised in the third quarter of 2019 -- from July 1 through September 30.

Every campaign will submit those reports to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and then release those reports to the public.

You know who'll pay special attention to Elizabeth's fundraising report?

Political reporters and pundits -- to see whether there's wide support for our bold plans to level the playing field for working people.

And powerful special interests -- to see whether we're actually building a grassroots movement that'll be strong enough to put power in the hands of the people.
