Happy Merry!
December 24, 2020
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
True confession: I'm working a short day today and I won't be in the office tomorrow.

The NEXT newsletter will talk about the governor's proposed budget.

The NEXT newsletter will talk about why the legislature unfortunately had to sue the governor about his appointees.

The NEXT newsletter may or may not tell you how the Senate is organized for the coming session. (It's taking longer than usual.)

This newsletter wishes you the very happiest of holidays. If Christmas is your winter celebration, may it be merry and bright.

If Hannukkah is your winter celebration, chag sameach and sorry I'm a little late.
(Yes, that's a Jewish guilt joke. Sue me.)

If you're a Solstice person, Happy Solstice! The daylight is returning.

No matter what you celebrate, please enjoy this season. Call your friends and loved ones, even if you have nothing more to say than 'I miss you.'

Oh, and your mother, too. Definitely call your Mom.
The holiday cards were hung in the Capitol office with care, in hopes that sound public policy soon would be there...
All my best,
Did someone forward you this newsletter?
Did you fall into it through the series of tubes? Want more?
No events list this week. Hug someone in your bubble. Call someone outside of it. Or show up and chew the fat (masked and distanced) in their yard. Enjoy!
Is there an event in our district I should know about? Please call or email!
