Dear John,

Since 1988, MPAC has focused on preparing future Muslim leaders in government, Hollywood and community through our programs. Our alumni have gone on to represent us everywhere from Congress to the United Nations, the ACLU, Google, and Facebook. They're at the forefront of the movement to create an inclusive America. We must continue to give the talent in our community the experiences and opportunities they need to become influential movers and shakers.
We are so grateful for you making this possible. It's been your support that directly helps us train and develop Muslim leaders. In order to continue this kind of work, now more than ever, we need your urgent help to reach our $2,300,000 goal before December 31st. Please consider donating $100 to MPAC today!

Involving American Muslims in government and civic engagement

Through our Congressional Leadership Development Program, Policy fellowships, internships and other programs, we have been ensuring that our future Muslim leaders have all the tools, resources and networks they need to succeed. This year, we launched the American Muslim Elected and Appointed Officials Network (AMEAON) in partnership with the Illinois Muslim Civic Coalition and America Indivisible to further that goal. AMEAON demonstrates the best in civic engagement and leadership in the country, providing a network and support among Muslim public officials, and speaking up for our rights in one collective voice.

Preparing Muslim screenwriters & creatives to succeed in the industry

This year, we launched The Muslim List screenwriting competition in partnership with The Black List and Pillars Fund, which will be the first industry list specifically promoting scripts by Muslim screenwriters. In an effort to discover and nurture talented writers with unique voices and diverse backgrounds, we partner with major entertainment studios/production companies to develop a series of day-long labs in Los Angeles designed to advance Muslim screenwriters in their careers.
