People For Member,
People For's Next Up Victory Fund has long been supporting progressive candidates at the state and local level, and in 2020, we knew it was more important than ever to get progressives elected up and down the ballot. We had historic wins for our endorsees nationwide, and we can't wait for these new elected officials to get to work for our country and their communities!
All of our endorsees are bold progressive champions who will lead the fight for democracy, equality, justice, and the other core American values we hold dear. Here are some examples of Next Up candidates this year who broke glass ceilings and became historic “firsts” with their impressive wins:
