John,
This holiday season looks a little different this year. Every Christmas week
since entering Congress, I have spent these several days visiting our troops in
the Middle East to feed them their meals, meet with them to discuss their
missions abroad, and let them know how very grateful we all are for their
service and sacrifice. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s trip couldn’t
take place, but I am still thinking about these great Americans just as much as
always.
With Chanukah just ending, Christmas a day away, and New Years fast
approaching next week, let’s find the opportunity in the days ahead to reflect
on and cherish what truly makes our nation the greatest in the history of the
world.
From my family to yours, Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas!
Lee Zeldin
