Earlier this year President Bolsonaro “declared war” on tribal peoples, sparking a surge in violence towards indigenous communities in Brazil and leading to the devastating forest fires we saw in August.
However, this political change has also led to something amazing – in January, the world saw the biggest indigenous protest ever. People all over the world are mobilizing and joining the fight for tribal peoples' rights!
