Hi John,
2020 is not a year we’re likely to forget anytime soon.
It’s been hard to be locked down in our homes, not being able to see our loved ones, many of us grieving, many of us struggling. Some of us suffered devastating climate impacts on top of the pandemic, our homes flooded or burned down, our sky full of smoke.
And yet, during this past year, our movement has managed to regroup and act. From building a global coalition demanding a Just Recovery and standing with movements calling for racial justice, to stopping dirty coal, oil and gas projects and passing climate-friendly legislation: we're still here, fighting together for climate justice for everyone.
For now, take a minute to watch this video we made to remind ourselves of all the times we come together for people and the planet in 2020. Turn your sound on, watch, and remember how powerful we are when we stand together.
As 2020 finally ends, here's something to look forward to: people power rising up in the new year once more. Stay tuned.
