From far and wide, the narrative of affordable housing conversation has taken national prominence, with practitioners, researchers, policymakers, funders, lenders, and community organizers from across the country descending to Atlanta to amplify the need for lasting affordability.

Community Land Trusts are part of a growing voice in this conversation and a significant aspect of our upcoming CLT Summit, scheduled for Wednesday, October 2^nd as part of RVP. We are especially excited by how, for the first time, our field has a proposal (from U.S. Presidential Candidate Senator Bernie Sanders) on the table for $50 Billion in grants for states, cities and towns to establish CLTs and to support over 1 Million households’ capacity to purchase homes over the next 25 years. We invite you to participate in this purposeful discussion about this proposal and other issues, opportunities, and obstacles that will affect the growth of CLTs in the years ahead.
