Friend,

In 2016, diabetes patients in Michigan’s 11th District spent over $20 million on insulin -- Those without insurance paid $583 for just one month’s supply of a drug they can’t live without.

In Australia, a month’s supply of insulin costs just $28. We can -- and must -- do better.

I want to hear from you: Can you take a moment to fill out my team’s survey on prescription drug costs?

Take the Survey

The high cost of prescription drugs forces the most vulnerable among us to make an impossible choice. We can’t ask seniors or those living with chronic illnesses to choose between the medications keeping them alive and paying for groceries.

Life-saving medication isn’t a luxury, and it shouldn’t be priced like one. We need to demand transparency in drug pricing. We need to make sure pharmacists can give honest advice to patients. And we need to stop drug companies from gouging patients over life-saving drugs.

I’m doing everything I can to lower the costs of prescription drugs. Can you share your thoughts on this issue with me? >>
