Happy Holidays! We're reminding you that TPPF's Policy Orientation will be happening in the new year and making sure you have planned accordingly. You won't want to miss this!
While our in-person tickets are already sold out, don’t worry! You can gain livestream access to keynote and other PO panels for free just by registering.
In addition to our keynote speakers, we have plenary and individual sessions covering the most important topics for the upcoming year.
Here are two you'll want to know about:
1) Election 2020: What Happened and What Does it Mean for the Future?
Wednesday, 1/13 – 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Description
2020’s controversial election outcome has largely masked two big events: amidst a massive turnout, down ballot Republicans did quite well nationwide and the beginnings of a fundamental partisan realignment are emerging. Understanding what this means mechanically in terms of solidified Republican legislative control and demographically in terms of how partisan politics will continue to shift is key to knowing how the political scene will never be the same.
Moderated by TPPF's Chuck DeVore, panelists include John Davidson from The Federalist, Rachel Bovard from the Conservative Partnership Institute and Matt Braynard from Look Ahead America.
2) What Does America Mean Now?
Thursday, 1/14 – 5-6 p.m.
The idea of America is under attack from a “progressive” left that declares that the republic was conceived in sin, grounded in hypocrisy, and fundamentally irredeemable. From the 1619 Project that seeks to undermine American legitimacy, to the Refusing to Forget project that seeks to undermine Texas legitimacy, it's hard times for what everyone used to agree was "the last best hope of man on earth.” How did we get here — and how do we fight back? Join Matthew Peterson of Claremont, Michael Gonzalez of Heritage, and Joshua Treviño of TPPF for a conversation on “What Does America Mean Now?"
