John,

Did you see the news? Dwight helped pass a $908 billion pandemic relief plan to help small businesses weather this crisis.

A lot of candidates talk about fighting for small businesses, but Dwight's putting his words to action. But listen, securing economic relief is only the first step. To get our democracy and our economy back on track, we'll need a grassroots team that is dedicated to this work.

Next week, we're going up against our final fundraising deadline of the year. What we raise now will help Dwight plan for the important work up ahead as we move forward under a new (and improved) administration.

Will you chip in what you can before the end-of-year deadline so we can start the new year strong? This is a people-powered movement, so every little bit helps Dwight keep fighting for working people.

Subject: An update on how Dwight is fighting for our Main Street employers

Friend --

Since March, more than 1,000 small businesses have closed in Philly. And it's not just in our city -- Main Street employers are closing their doors for good around the country.

Without delay, our local restaurants, nail salons, retailers, food trucks, corner stores, and beauty shops need a renewal of the Paycheck Protection Program NOW. And Congress must secure forgivable loans for our small business owners.

As vice-chair of the House Small Business Committee, Dwight is fighting to bridge the partisan divide and secure more small-business assistance during these difficult times. Yesterday, he joined his colleagues in unveiling a $908 billion pandemic relief plan to help our small businesses get back on their feet.

Small businesses are the backbone of Philly's neighborhoods -- and they can't afford to keep waiting for a helping hand. Sign on as a grassroots supporter of Dwight's economic relief plan now.

Helping our Main Street employers weather this crisis should never have been a partisan issue. That's why Dwight isn't taking no for an answer.

The numbers speak to the urgency of the moment. Already, 30 to 40 percent of Philadelphia businesses have closed for good. And countless other business owners need a lifeline, or we can expect to see a wave of bankruptcies in the new year.

To help Dwight fight for our small businesses, we're gathering 350 grassroots signatures by tonight at midnight in support of the new relief plan. Add your name as a grassroots supporter of the relief plan that will rush help where it's urgently needed.
