BJS seeks applications for funding for the fiscal year (FY) 2021 continuation of the Federal Justice Statistics Program (FJSP). The FJSP provides information on the federal criminal case processing of defendants arrested, prosecuted, adjudicated, sentenced, and in prison, with a focus on linking records across stages of the case process. This program furthers the Department's mission by increasing transparency, collaboration, and reporting of federal criminal justice agencies.
In FY 2021, applications will be submitted in a new two-step process, each with its own deadline:
- Step 1: Submit an SF-424 and an SF-LLL in Grants.gov.
Grants.gov forms are due on March 2, 2021 by 11:59 p.m. ET.
- Step 2: Submit the full application including attachments in JustGrants.
The JustGrants application is due on March 16, 2021 by 11:59 p.m. ET.
The Bureau of Justice Statistics of the U.S. Department of Justice is the principal federal agency responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating reliable statistics on crime and criminal justice in the United States. Jeffrey H. Anderson is the director.
