- If we were, we wouldn’t see billionaire wealth explode by more than $1 trillion as millions suffer and schools starve for basic resources.
- If we were, Congress would have approved $2,000 monthly stimulus checks in June, not one-time $600 checks forced through after months of cruel delay.
- If we were, we would be using this crisis as an opportunity to pass Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and a $15 federal minimum wage with added hazard pay for frontline workers.
- And, if we were, poor countries wouldn’t be left out as the world’s richest nations snap up a majority of the vaccine shots.
