Hi there,

Well, the results are in, and we think they’re spot on:

The cover of TIME magazine reads "Person of the Year: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Changing America's Story" with a portrait of Biden and Harris

Source: TIME

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are a gleaming light at the end of the tunnel, and we’re relieved that TIME agrees. As its editor-in-chief wrote announcing the selection: “If Donald Trump was a force for disruption and division over the past four years, Biden and Harris show where the nation is heading: a blend of ethnicities, lived experiences and worldviews that must find a way forward together if the American experiment is to survive.”

Still, not everyone’s in agreement about this historic moment. We all remember how Trump mocked teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg last year when TIME selected her over him.

“So ridiculous,” he had the audacity to tweet. “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

Trump was a finalist for this year’s award, but, like everything else he’s attempted this year, he lost. And it’s no news that our president can’t take a loss -- after all, he STILL hasn’t conceded the election -- but we can’t let him tarnish Joe’s and Kamala’s moment in the sun. Please, add your voice to ours:

Do you think Biden and Harris were the rightful Person of the Year?

YES   NO

Thanks for sticking up for our next president and vice president. As Inauguration Day approaches, it’s essential that we roll up our sleeves and get to work.
