Dear Friend,

Every dog deserves a safe home, a warm bed to curl up on, and a caring family
who loves them.

You know every dog deserves this—but sadly, not all of them are fortunate enough
to have it. This winter, neglected dogs kept chained or penned outdoors will
suffer tremendously as they struggle to survive the freezing rain, wind, and
snow with little (or nothing) to protect them from the elements. Without your
help, many may not make it through the bone-chilling nights yet to come.

Sponsor a doghouse with a special gift of just $2 or more right now and help us
change a neglected dog’s life by providing desperately needed shelter, basic
medical care, and more.

It’s disturbing to know that some owners force dogs to stay outside in all types
of weather: torrential rain, driving snow, and temperatures so cold that they
can be deadly. Our fieldworkers encounter dogs in urgent need every single day. They’re often found chained to trees in barren backyards with nothing more than
an overturned barrel or trash can to serve as a poor excuse for “shelter”—if
they have anything at all. They’re left miserable, shivering, and wet in inches
of mud, sometimes without fresh food or even clean water to drink.

PETA’s doghouse sponsorship program has helped our fieldworkers deliver more
than 7,600 doghouses to dogs in desperate need of shelter. Our doghouses are
sturdy and durable, offering protection from extreme winter cold and scorching
summer heat. We deliver each one with treats, a toy, and straw bedding for extra
insulation against the cold.

You can help improve a dog’s life right now . Pitch in by sponsoring a doghouse today and help ensure that one more dog has
some shelter from the freezing cold this winter.
