Community Protection?s Parking Regulation and Compliance department are pleased to announce positions are available within REACT (Regulation Enforcement And Compliance Team)

REACT are a multi-disciplined team of officers inclusive of an SCPO who work across the city in a peripatetic, dynamic and flexible manner, with a can do attitude, tackling inconsiderate and illegal parking issues, anti-social behaviour and environmental crime. The team is innovative in terms of developing skills which maximise service delivery, contributing to a safer and cleaner Nottingham. Acting as capable guardians and providing a uniformed reassuring presence to the city.

As a Civil Enforcement Officer?you will perform a unique and innovative role within Parking Regulation and Compliance. Each day is different to the one before. This isn?t a desk job; you will spend 85% of your time out on the streets, maintaining the flow of traffic and reducing incidents of inconsiderate or dangerous parking, by enforcing the parking regulations set out in the Traffic Management Act 2004. You will assist customers and members of the public, acting as a capable guardian of the City.
