Friend,

One week from today marks the end of our fiscal year. We have poured all of our resources over the past 12 months into both fighting back against attacks on religious freedom from every angle and crafting our plan to strengthen our own movement of supporters.

Because of the unprecedented challenges to the separation of religion and government, we are facing a revenue shortfall and we have only seven days to close the $10,000 gap.

Please click here to rush an emergency gift of $50 (or whatever you can afford) toward our budget shortfall before the final deadline on Monday.

I know we can do it, but only if generous supporters like you push us over the finish line. Will you give today to help get us to our goal?

Here are just a few of the accomplishments you made possible over these last 12 months:

  • AU’s world-class legal team sued to stop Trump’s Denial of Care Rule, which would invite health care workers and first responders to deny care to people in need based on their religious objections.
  • I testified before Congress in a hearing dedicated to the Do No Harm Act, a bill that AU was integral in crafting. We continue to build support for the principle that religious freedom should be used as a shield to protect, not as a sword to harm others.
  • On behalf of our client Aimee Maddonna, AU has taken the government to court for allowing discrimination in our foster care system, which denies children access to the loving homes they deserve.
  • We are actively litigating nine court cases against the Trump administration in defense of the separation of religion and government – and we are not backing down anytime soon.

If we’re going to keep fighting against an administration that is determined to use religion to justify discrimination, we need to keep our work fully funded.

Please rush your emergency gift to AU now, before we hit our fiscal end-of-year deadline.

Our team will keep you updated on our progress, friend.

In solidarity,
