John Delaney for President

Friends,

Today, and for the last few days, millions of people all around the world are striking, protesting, and marching to demand action on our climate crisis.

Allow me to be unequivocally clear: I stand with them. Addressing climate change is one of the most urgent issues of our generation -- and we can't afford to waste time on mediocre "solutions" that accomplish nothing.

That's why I've put forward a $4 trillion Climate Change Plan -- a groundbreaking, innovative, and comprehensive roadmap of policy solutions to address the climate change crisis.

My proposal is unique in that it taxes carbon polluters and redistributes that money back to the American people as a dividend. It establishes a Climate Corps to focus on the under-resourced communities getting hit the hardest. It focuses on innovation and creating new technological breakthroughs on battery storage, transmissions and negative emissions technologies. And it invests $20 BILLION in a Carbon Throughway that will both deal with climate change and create jobs in the heartland and all across our country.

But I need your help to share my vision with American voters. Please consider donating a few dollars (or more if you can!) to my campaign today »

Friends, we have to act on climate and we have to act now.

If we fail to act, it stands to threaten our prosperity, national security, food supply, and the natural world. We simply can't wait to convince the climate change deniers of fundamental science, and we can't put forth unrealistic solutions or plans that will crush Americans economically.

We need a real plan to hit our goals and we have to listen to actual scientists. We have to leave the world better than we found it. But we will fail unless we can figure out how to address the climate crisis.

You can be sure that addressing climate change will be a first 100 days priority in my administration. I'm serious about tackling climate change -- and I have the record to prove it:

In 2017, I was awarded the Climate Leadership Award by the Citizen's Climate Lobby.
While in Congress, I introduced the first bipartisan bill in a decade to put a price on carbon, and it returns 100% of the revenue to the American people as a dividend.
I've built a $4 trillion carbon plan that will put us on the right track to reduce emissions in time to avoid the worst consequences of global warming.

I'm committed to tackling climate change, but I need your help. Please make a donation to our campaign today:
