Dear friend,
I've always looked forward to the holiday season as a time to pause from the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day routines and focus on what really matters: family, friends, and community. Despite the challenges this year has wrought - and the changes in how we can celebrate our holidays - I'm still looking forward to the holiday season. The hardships we are facing and the personal and collective traumas we've experienced this year remind us just how important family, friends, and community really are.
As we celebrate this season, let us look towards the future knowing that better days are not far away. We are still, always, blessed to have each other, and I know that the indomitable spirit of our community will lead us to a brighter future.
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, or have your own special family traditions, Melanie and I wish you all the very best this holiday season!
Warmly,
Andrew
