[1]Women's March
John,
The new stimulus bill that passed last night in Congress makes it crystal
clear that we (literally) cannot afford to fall short in Georgia.
For nearly 9 months, as COVID-19 ravaged our communities, we fought for
relief for women and working families. But our Republican-led Senate
repeatedly prioritized their billionaire friends over the millions who
lost their jobs, fell further behind on rent payments, and risked getting
COVID-19 to provide for their families.
Our movement had to fight hard just to get one $600 check (nine months
later!), but it’s not enough. Our communities cannot go another 9 months
without relief and that is why we must flip the Senate on January 5th.

The trajectory of our country, our ability to respond to the compounding
crises of COVID-19, racial and gender inequity, and so much more — largely
depends on whether we’re able to win the Georgia Senate runoff and win
Democratic control of the Senate.
That’s why we must channel every ounce of energy we have to end this
nightmare, win in Georgia, and finally flip the Senate this January.
Early voting for the Georgia Senate runoff is already in full swing. And
as of right now, polling shows that Ossoff and Warnock have a slight lead
in the race — less than one percentage point to be exact. We also know
polls haven’t been the most reliable in the past, so we can’t afford to
get overly confident just from one poll.

In an ultra-competitive race like this, every voter we’re able to talk to
can make a real difference in the results and our chances of winning. So
far, thanks to supporters like you, we’ve sent 1,272,0351 texts to women
voters in Georgia. We’ve also partnered with SONG Power for COVID-safe
canvasses across the state. With your help, we’re equipping leaders across
the state to knock their own neighborhoods.
Organizing work like this is critical to turning out a record number of
voters on January 5th. That’s why we’re reaching out today asking for your
help to raise the resources we need to organize in FULL FORCE these last
days leading up to the runoff.
[ [link removed] ]It’s going to take all of us working together these next 14 days to
make sure we have historic turnout in Georgia and win this runoff. Can you
make a
$3
donation – or anything you can – to power our organizing work on the
ground in Georgia?
Please remember
John: Unlike a traditional
election, we don’t have the luxury of having months to prepare. And unlike
the GOP, we don’t rely on billionaire friends or dark money accounts to
fund our voter outreach. So if you’re wondering why we keep emailing about
this runoff: it’s because we need your support right now.
Let’s finish this,
Women’s March
