Dear Friend,

Big Polluters like Exxon, Shell, Chevron and others have fueled and
denied the climate crisis for decades, all while raking in billions in
profits each year. And despite what their greenwashing spin machine
might try to claim, they're still doing it: delaying action at every
turn, pushing false solutions, and using their vast wealth to buy
political influence.

Over the years, Common Dreams has been at the forefront of exposing the
deception, greed, and crimes of these climate villains.

But here's the thing: We also know from our coverage that people across
the world know exactly how to respond to this global crisis—and these
people are rising up. Real, just solutions to address climate change are
within reach, attainable in short order if those blocking action were
swept aside. But in order to implement these solutions, we need Big
Polluters to stop interfering, and we need to make them pay for those
solutions.

Fossil fuel giants can afford to pay for the damage they knowingly
caused and are still causing. And we must compel them to do so.
Communities around the globe are taking action toward holding polluting
industries liable for the damage they have caused. But to take on the
most powerful industries on the planet, we've got to go bigger. Will you

just and meaningful solutions to address the climate crisis?
