Time is running out to break down these barriers and help Georgians cast their ballots

Politico Headline: GOP launches legal war on absentee voting ahead of Georgia runoffs

John -- After Democrats flipped the state in November, Republicans are attacking access to mail voting in Georgia in hopes of holding onto two Senate seats.

Their strategy rests on disenfranchising voters in the middle of a pandemic who desperately need safe access to voting.

Boosting absentee voting is critical, not only because of rising COVID cases, but also due to closures of early voting locations in Black and brown neighborhoods that are leaving vulnerable people with decreased access to in-person voting.

While incredible Democratic election lawyers fight Republican goons in the courtroom, it’s up to on-the-ground organizations like Vote From Home to mobilize voters and make it easy for Georgia voters to register for absentee ballots and return them on time so their votes are counted. Make sure we can keep safely turning out voters by contributing today.

Polling place closures. An onslaught of lawsuits. Our best tool to top this voter suppression is on-the-ground turnout operations.

Thank you,
Vote From Home

------------
Vote From Home 2020 mobilized volunteers from across the country to make 20 million phone calls, text, and mail attempts to voters in Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania to help elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Now we’re focused on electing two Democratic Senators from Georgia to create major legislative action and take away Mitch McConnell’s power. Our average gift is just under $38. Consider donating today to support our scrappy grassroots movement.
