Hi John,
Through our years of working with aspiring undocumented attorneys, we’ve found that there are so many roadblocks on their pathway to success. From prohibitively high application fees, to expensive LSAT prep classes and a lack of networking opportunities, it’s a long and arduous process for low-income undocumented immigrants. As part of our efforts to address these disparities in the most direct way we know, we established our Pre-Law Fund this year.

Contribute to our Pre-Law Fund today and support undocumented students pursuing a legal career. ([link removed])

This year, we had the honor of working with ten Pre-Law Fund recipients, including Florencio. Florencio immigrated to the U.S. from Michoacán, Mexico at the age of 8, and received his bachelor’s degree from UC Merced. Florencio’s education and teachers influenced him to make public service a key part of his professional aspirations, motivating him to intern for the U.S. Senate and California State Assembly. With acceptances from eight prestigious law schools around the country under his belt, he’s well on his way to realizing the changes he wants to see.

“Yesterday, I received my first law school acceptance, along with a full-ride scholarship! ... I am only a few weeks into the law school admission cycle, and I still have more schools to hear back from, but I am so grateful for this start.”
— Florencio, Pre-Law Fund Recipient
We are proud to support Florencio, our Pre-Law Fund recipients, and their goals through our Pre-Law Fund, established and replenished by the generosity of everyday donors like you.

With your donation, we can provide more undocumented young people with opportunities to pursue a career pathway in the legal profession in 2021. Can we count on you? ([link removed])

Thank you,

The Immigrants Rising team
