Dear John,
One thing we can all agree on is that this year has been uniquely challenging. With a global pandemic, many of us spent more time at home this year, and with that has come greater consumption of television and streaming content.
On March 20, 2021, we will celebrate our 29th Media Awards where we honor artists, actors, activists and executives who use art and media to create authentic, nuanced portrayals of Islam and Muslims, promote diversity and social justice, and inspire action.

We would love to know which movies, TV shows, digital series, books, music, ad campaigns, or other creative work inspired you this year and deserve to be honored! We are seeking nominations for projects that were released in 2020.
Send your submissions for consideration to [email protected] by Friday, January 8th with the subject line “2021 Media Awards Nominations”. Be sure to include the name of the project or artist, a link to the nominated material, and why it deserves a Media Award.
