Donor Spotlight: Chrisann Bienlein
Through the efforts of First Star Ambassador Devin Alexander's outreach on NextDoor, our work was introduced to Chrisann Bienlein, an LA-area resident looking to make a difference during this holiday season. To honor the memory of her mother (pictured left), who taught her the importance of giving, Chrisann made a contribution to First Star in her name. 

"I really can't think of a more worthwhile cause. My mother passed about 4 years ago, but our home was always full of people especially on Christmas eve. We always adopted a "family" to celebrate the holiday with us. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to honor her memory and I am so impressed with the work First Star must-do for these young people. You are right, the power of community!"
