Dear Friend,

2020 has been a trying year for us all, but for immigrant families, COVID-19 and its impact on the economy has been especially difficult. Because of you, Rian Immigrant Center is offering the support that immigrants need to be empowered and to make it through the pandemic.

Today, our immigration attorneys are providing more consultations – virtually – than ever before. Our case representations increased by 15% compared to 2019, and our Center is currently representing over 600 families.

Our teachers are providing English for Speakers of Other Languages and computer literacy classes remotely for adult learners looking to improve their English and their employment options.

Our social workers are providing counseling for anxiety, trauma and isolation and have connected hundreds of families to critical resources like cash assistance, food, jobs and safe places to live.

When COVID-19 forced thousands of people out of work, Rian came together with 15 organizations to form the Massachusetts Immigrant Collaborative providing direct cash and food assistance to 35,000 immigrant families.

With your help we have made a difference in the lives of thousands but there is more to do.

Rian Immigrant Center stands alongside immigrant families who want the opportunity to work hard, build a stable life, and be empowered. I am asking you to join us. A generous donor has offered to match donations made by December 31st, up to $50,000.

Make a gift today and it will have double the impact!

Over 90% of the people who come to Rian were already living below the poverty line before the pandemic. They are hard-working immigrants who are now faced with job loss. Their challenges will continue into 2021.

Rian Immigrant Center is committed to empowering immigrant families, but we need your help.

As you're considering your end of year giving, please consider Rian's work.
