Despite the various challenges we've faced this year, we've made incredible progress toward achieving our mission of a more compassionate food
system

This year alone, we've released 10 new investigations exposing the devastating effects of factory farming.

After lengthy negotiation, with the help of supporters like you, Popeyes took a
historic pledge to become the first major fast-food chicken chain to eliminate
the worst suffering across their supply chain.

Advocates like you made us a powerful force for animals on Capitol Hill by
helping advance the Farm System Reform Act. This bill would prevent the construction of new factory farms and help overhaul our nation's
food system .

We also made international progress. After four years, Brazil's second-largest
retailer, GPA, committed to banning cages for hens and crates for mother pigs.

In response to COVID-19, we launched a new initiative, Plants to the People. We
partnered with restaurants and local organizations to provide over 4,000 nutritious
plant-based meals to U.S. residents struggling with food insecurity.

The world looks very different this year, but one thing has not changed: We are
dedicated to creating a more compassionate food system.
