Changing Lives Through Research Hello John, We are excited to share with you the eleventh Personally Speaking blog in our 12-part series of staff stories. This week’s blog is from our director of research, Elizabeth Hancq. Elizabeth’s passion for learning about how the brain works led her to study and research neuroscience while in college. That brought her to the Treatment Advocacy Center, where her work helps educate the public and policy makers on the importance of better laws and access to treatment for those with severe mental illness. For Elizabeth, her work is personal. As she writes in her blog, “educating people about severe mental illness and research is the most fulfilling aspect of my role, especially the production of our blog, Research Weekly. I am incredibly honored to be contributing to the efforts to make severe mental illness better understood.” We know that for you, this work is personal, too. To help us continue conducting impactful research that helps us inform policymakers and advocate for a better mental healthcare system, make a donation today. Please give to the Treatment Advocacy Center today. Thank you. DONATE Treatment Advocacy Center | Website Treatment Advocacy Center | 200 N Glebe Rd, Ste 801, Arlington, VA 22203 Unsubscribe
