Hello John,
We've all received some sad news in the last few days and I hope you are doing okay. It is a strange and difficult time for us all, with many of us not getting the Christmas we may have wished for.
Well, as a small way to bring some cheer to you this Christmas, I wanted to invite you and your family to join me for a live reading of a children's Christmas story on 24th December.
I thought this would be a lovely time to share this Christmas story, which teaches about how we can love all animals. The story is 'Santa's First Vegan Christmas' and I will be reading it live on the Freedom for Animals' Facebook page. ([link removed])
Will you join me? All you have to do is go to our Facebook page ([link removed]) at 6pm on Christmas Eve! You can sit with your family all cosy at home and i'll read a bedtime story for the children. Adults can listen too of course - no children necessary!

I've chosen this book as I think it carries a message so relevant to the values of our charity - that we should treat all animals with kindness. I know you share those same values so I hope will enjoy the story too.
At Freedom for Animals I work on the campaign to end the use of live animals as entertainment at festive events, and reindeer are by far the animals most exploited in this way. You can read more about the campaign here. ([link removed])
I also did an interview with the author of the book, Robin Raven which you can read here. ([link removed])
I look forward to reading to you on Christmas Eve!

P.S. Make sure you are following us on facebook to join my LIVE reading of an animal-friendly Christmas Story! ([link removed])
If you don't have your own Facebook page, don't worry as you should still be able to see the live video.
