Autumn begins today...
"Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf, So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day Nothing gold can stay." ~ Robert Frost, 1923

Submit agency stories to the CCUSA storybank
When you share with us a story about your work and the people you serve in your local community, we can then share your stories not only with a national audience but also the lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Our government affairs team goes to the Hill often, and they are able to represent the Catholic Charities ministry more persuasively when they can share local stories that demonstrate the success and efficacy of programs and services. So please share your stories about food programs, affordable housing, family reunification, integrated health, social enterprises, and everything you do! Stories that involve the federal funding you receive are needed especially. We want everyone to know about the great work you are doing! Submit your stories here.

Join us for a webinar on Pastoral Migratoria / Immigrant-led Social Ministry
On Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time, four USCCB departments (Cultural Diversity; Evangelization and Catechesis; Justice, Peace and Human Development; and Migration and Refugee Services) will co-sponsor a webinar to share information about Pastoral Migratoria (PM), an immigrant-led ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago to help form immigrant leaders. Immigrant leaders formed through PM have successfully engaged their respective Hispanic communities to engage in organizing, advocacy and service. PM is now working with pastoral teams from other dioceses to introduce this model of leadership formation in many parts of the U.S. If you have wondered how to better form and engage Hispanic leaders in work for justice, then this webinar can help. We encourage diocesan coordinators of faith formation, Hispanic ministry, social concerns, and other areas of ministry to participate in this webinar together and then discern and discuss how learnings from PM are applicable in your own diocese. Register for the webinar here!
