My name is Cayana Mackey, and I’m an Arena Academy graduate. And, right now, I’m working tirelessly as the Deputy Digital Director to elect Reverend Raphael Warnock to the U.S. Senate.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without Arena. The Academy helped me level up my skills and step into a senior-level position on a campaign that will make or break the Senate.

The stakes of this campaign could not be higher. If we want a Senate that will expand access to health care, provide our country with the resources needed to recover from COVID-19, and pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act -- we need to elect Reverend Warnock.

We know Democrats can win Georgia -- and we need them to on January 5th.

As a young Black woman new to politics, Arena has been invaluable. From the moment I left Arena Academy, my instructors followed up with me, gave me tips to ensure I was paid my worth, and helped me find a job.

I got into electoral politics inspired by Stacey Abrams’ historic run for governor and to ensure those like me with pre-existing conditions have access to affordable health care. But campaigns can be a grind. Breaking in requires a network. And once you’re in, you work long hours under high stress. The Arena community helped me get my foot in the door and has supported me with the knowledge and know-how to thrive.

I’m now lucky enough to be working on another historic campaign and know I can count on the Arena Community for support.

We’re in the final stretch -- which means this is our last chance to flip the Senate blue and end Kelly Loeffler’s tenure as the senator.
