** WELCOME TO THE NUMBER OF THE DAY

** DECEMBER 22, 2020

Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters nationwide say their faith is more important than their politics. A _PoliticalIQ_ survey found that 17% take the opposite view and say politics is more important in their life. Thirteen percent (13%) say neither is very important, and 6% are not sure.[1] ([link removed])

Sixty-six percent (66%) of women consider faith more important along with 61% of men. Among voters under 35, that figure is 51%. It rises to 69% among seniors. Faith is a higher priority for 66% of Black voters, 64% of White voters, and 63% of Hispanic voters.[1] ([link removed])

In fact, a majority of just about every measured demographic group says faith is more important than politics. The sole exception is liberal voters, where a plurality holds that view. Among those who consider themselves somewhat or very liberal, 47% view faith as more important in their life, while 36% place a higher priority on politics.[1] ([link removed])
