Calling all restaurants, foodies, and Arlingtonians with an adventurous palette for the first ever Arlington Restaurant Week held from Monday, October 21 through Monday, October 28! Arlington Restaurant Week will feature restaurants throughout Arlington with multi-course meals at special prices. As a diner, you'll enjoy some of the best food the area has to offer, as well as great deals and discounts. Take this week to explore different restaurants and find your new go-to place for dining out!

Participating restaurants will gain exposure through extensive media promotion and attract new patrons through experiencing their food. This event runs differently from your average Restaurant Week in that is it open to all restaurants from fast-food spots to five-star dining establishments. Restaurants are able to pick their own price point that fits their restaurant's style and to market their Restaurant Week menu on the Chamber's website.

For more information about Arlington Restaurant Week, restaurant registration, or sponsorship opportunities, visit our website or contact Operations Coordinator Olivia McKay at (703) 525-2400 or [email protected].

This month's Small Business Roundtable topic is "Selling to the Commonwealth" presented by Christian Ley of Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity. The Selling to the Commonwealth workshop is designed to educate small, women and/or minority business owners about opportunities to sell their goods and services to the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Each year the Commonwealth buys goods and services totaling more than $8 billion. The Commonwealth of Virginia wants to do business with you and increase participation of small, women owned, and minority-owned businesses. This workshop will provide information about the Virginia procurement process (eVA) and the benefits of SWaM and Micro certifications from DSBSD. The roundtable is free to members but space is limited and registration is requested.

Rather than trying to force outdated phone systems to work for the modern, mobile workforce, businesses can benefit by taking advantage of cloud-based “unified communications.” ...To continue reading, view our blog.
