Two New Resources & New PIF Webpage
Dear Allies,
This week we are sharing two new PIF campaign documents as well as a new page on our website featuring specialized community education materials.
NEW RESOURCES
Examples Of How The New Public Charge Test Would Work
Looking for examples to understand how DHS’s final public charge rule might work? In this new document, you can find different hypothetical situations and stories, as well as our analysis of how the final public charge rule would affect each individual.
The Invisible Wall: Policies That Threaten Immigrant Families
We put this resource together in an effort to document the past and ongoing threats from the Trump Administration that will negatively impact immigrants, their families, and their communities. Our “Invisible Wall” document includes proposed changes to the immigration system that negatively impact immigrants with low-incomes as well as proposed changes to basic needs programs that would make it harder for immigrants and their families to thrive and live with dignity. We will continue to update this document with the latest developments.
New PIF Webpage to Share Specialized Educational Materials
Our new PIF Specialized Resources page features educational materials from our partners across the country. We hope that advocates and service providers will be able to draw from these documents as they share information with their communities. If your organization has a resource you would like to share with the Protecting Immigrant Families network, please send it to Isobel Mohyeddin, at[email protected].
