                                     The Most Holy Eucharist

Dear Friend,

We all know the raging pandemic and economic downturn led to the closing of our churches and consequently starving the lay faithful of the Holy Eucharist as well as the grace of other sacraments such as Reconciliation, Anointing, and more…

Without being able to draw strength from the Lord, many find it easier to get caught up in distracting interruptions.

In light of what I will call “a conspiracy of interruptions,” we must not lose sight in face of the pandemic scare, where we were embroiled in terrible battle both in the individual and in societal. With these exacerbating concerns, millions ran the risk of losing their belief in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist.

You can serve as a source of hope and light as well as a reminder that families are not alone in their darkest moments. Help us spread hope by making a donation to our annual appeal today.

My friends, millions of souls are at stake! Particularly during this tumultuous time, we need to draw strength from the Lord and embrace the Eucharist as the ultimate source of our Christian strength and grace.

In his book, Divine Love Made Flesh: The Holy Eucharist as the Sacrament of Charity, His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke stressed the importance of desiring in our lives first and foremost, the Holy Eucharist. He goes on to say that for the person of faith, all other goods in life are seen always in relationship to the Holy Eucharist.

All of hell quivers and quakes at the soul that cries out with agonizing yearnings for depth in Christ. “The great good in our life and the measure of the depth of our faith is naturally the strength of our desire to receive Holy Communion,” said Cardinal Burke.

As we continue to direct our hearts and minds to Christ in these final days of Advent leading up the celebration of Christmas, let us remember there is no fuller communion with God than when we receive the Body of Christ and that the Holy Eucharist is the source of our life in the Church and its highest expression.

Let us Increase our Desire for the Eucharist.                                                  Click Here to Read the Most Holy Eucharist
