Massachusetts — and communities in the 7th District in particular — have been hit extremely hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. So many families have been forced to choose between putting food on the table and other vital expenses, like paying rent or seeking critical medical care.
That’s why we’re emailing you today: there are amazing organizations in our communities that are standing in the gap and making sure people have the food they need to survive. But these organizations need our support to continue this life-saving work.
The Cambridge Community Center is serving youth, families, and seniors. They offer full-day programs for children and are providing groceries and essentials to 800 households per week.
Contribute to the Cambridge Community Center
Food for Free believes that nutritional food is a human right and they are providing families in Chelsea with family meals, home delivery, and stopping food waste by re-capturing food that might otherwise be put to waste. They are helping so many people survive these difficult times.
We hope you’ll contribute what you can to make sure everyone has enough to eat this holiday season, but we know that times are tough, and if you can’t afford to make a contribution, please do not worry. Thank you for everything you’re doing to help support this movement and our communities.
